Where you can be Dr Jones all day long
We've let the blogging go off the boil a bit but have kept on full steam traveling North and we've seen a lot. From the beaches of northern Karnataka and Goa where the accommodation is cheap, the beer cheaper still and the warm sea, perfect sand and over-relaxed atmosphere made us lose the best part of two weeks we headed to Hampi which is the nearest you can get to playing real life Indiana Jones (me) and Shorty (Alice) "hold on to your potatoes Dr Jones!".
We then headed further north into Maharashtra where the tourists disappeared it got decidedly less relaxed and we had two joyous nights battling bedbugs and shouty neighbours. We made it to Mumbai which was far calmer and more ordered than we could have hoped, stocked up on aircon, McDonalds and real coffees then headed into Madhya Pradesh on some very long 10+ hour bus journeys on some perfectly potholed roads.
We are well, have run out of time in the internet cafe again after uploading photos but are not in Rajhastan where we will see the Mughals then race to the Sikh Golden Temple in Amristar. Then the plan is to beat the heat and

spend our last few weeks in the mountains maybe having tea with the Dalai Lama considering he's now retired.
