On the way to NasikThis accident just happened and its funny that the only thing the locals could think about was collecting free fuel!!!
Well we got onto the train at 2pm in jaipur and reached Mumbai at 8am on the 14th. The train journey was funny, well as I said before we were in non- AC 2nd class and you have every kind of person walking down the aisles from chai wala's (one of the chai wala's had a rap going on it was too funny) to poor people, people dragging themselves with no legs down the aisle begging and even hijrah's (transvestites).
Actually that’s a funny story this woman/man was going around making people give her money and really shouting and clapping. She/he came to us and I just buried myself in my book and poor Michael he didn't understand what she was saying and she just started shouting at him. The whole train burst out into laughter, I must say it was really funny because he just kept staring at him and saying what? Lol Well thank god there were no goats!!! Lol
Anyway we got to Mumbai then went by taxi to Nasik, reached there at 2pm. On the same day was the cocktail party, so we went to there house and had to start getting ready. Cocktail was
good, actually the best bit was they had a tent with Sheesha/Hooka and that was great. It reminded me of all of us (me, Ron, Dips, and Pravs) going out for sheesha together every Thursdays, we got back to the house at 4am. It was a little hectic as we were staying at the house where the marriage was therefore didn't get to sleep until 7am.
Woke up at 1:30pm as I could here everyone shouting and really load dhol and music! Lol went to do a little shopping; we got back and had to get ready for the wedding straight away, well that was after I got my mendhi done. The wedding or procession to the wedding started at 9pm, got to the place for 11pm! Everyone was knackered, after eating and a few drinks we all were so tired we just wanted to go back and sleep. Anyway we were just about to leave a 3:30am and I was told that they are just starting the fera (walking around the fire)! Oh my god! What the hell were they doing? As you may have noticed I wasn't paying much attention, well the food was being served and
the stage was too far! lol
Well that was the wedding over and we got up at 6am on the 16th, when the rest of the family just got home and started playing games! It was crazy, an all night wedding! So me and Michael got onto a bus to Mumbai and arrived there at 11am. We had a train leaving to Goa at 11pm so chilled most of they day and then linked up with Jeet (my cousin) for dinner. He took us to a really nice place to eat, the food was fab! Then we all went to a place to see the queen’s necklace and it looked amazing in the night.
So my next trip was to goa, we had to go to VT station in Mumbai and the guy said there was some work going on and we need to get to Dadar via local train!!! It wasn't that bad apart from all the locals staring at you like you’re an alien from outer space! lol
Anyway reached Goa and what can I say....amazing! Its so beautiful here, the beach, the waves...wow.
I'll try update some pics from Nasik tomorrow and a
At the weddingDon't know what the hell i'm doing here, but trying to blend in with the crowd i guess! Yes it didn't work!!! lol
