Kashid Beach

Ahhh finally I get decent website to write my view about this beach ...

First trip to Kashid : Kashid beach is approx 130 kms from Mumbai ...Well this was the first time I went out with my friends on bike for a long trip ... you won't believe we made this plan @ 10 PM on Saturday night... We(myself, sid and Jinesh) had just decided that we are going for this plan .. we did not think about the time we are leaving, whether we would get accomodation or any other shit ... We waited for Nikhil @ mini seashore Vashi till 11.30 to join us since we had 2 bikes .... Journey started .. I must tell you the road to Alibaug is pretty fine .. but when it is dark it is wise to drive slowly and yes avoid risky overtaking ...It was 2AM we reached proper Alibaug .... We tried our luck to find some accomodation but no luck ... we went to Alibaug beach and spent some time on the beach ... well this beach is quite ok ... our main plan was to visit Kashid beach ....since it was dark and we did not get any accomodation we decided that we will spend another 2 hours in Alibaug doin nothing waiting for dawn.. At 5 AM we had some tea at the local tea stall and left for Kashid beach (another 30 kms from alibaug) towards Murud road.... we took some snaps on the bridge.... and then finally reached Kashid beach ... oh I must tell you its a real beautiful beach ... its neat, clean and best in the morning (cool) ...... spent an hour at Kashid beach wandering around ... Nikhil built some amazing mermaid like sand figure at the beach... everything was goin well and oh we helped him and she lost her figure...lol ...we took some more snaps here and went ahead to Murud to have breakfast ... We had eggs and misal pav for breakfast .... Drive to Murud Janjira fort is amazing ....... we were really tired now since we did not sleep properly ... on the way back boys had some fun having their favorite drinks ... mountain dew and stuff .... we had this lil snacks party at the murud beach ... We knocked some local restaurants asking for Kokam kadi ... but all we got to hear is it is available in late afternoon or no not here .... It was time to leave now ... we left for Mumbai ... on our way back we had lunch @ a dhaba near pen .. I don't remember the name as of now ... but we liked this place ... we came back to this dhaba couple of times after that just to have food here .... We reached home at 3 in the afternoon ... It was not a fully planned trip but still short and best trip to remember ... credit goes to Kashid beach .... m/
