The meeting with the priest went well despite the noisy electrical storm that happened at the same time. The priest pointed out marriages can fail for many reasons and was not saying whether we should, or not get married. I was happy with this; it is Ruby’s and me who have to make the decision to get married or not anyone else.
I just wanted to know if Ruby was being pushed into this marriage by her brother Joseph or Nixy and just wanted the priest as an independent person who could speak the local language and English to ask her in her own language if she was being pushed or not into this marriage, after the priest asked her she turned to me and said “I want to marry you” Oh Joy! however, language is going to be a challenge for use both. She is happy to go for Spoken English classes before she leaves India. I must try to learn Malerlum her language,
