We retreated from the chilly hills of the Western Ghats to the warmth of the coast at a spot called Marari Beach, where we are storing up the warmth before we come home to the wintery conditions in the UK. We have spent the last few days of our holiday resting, reading and relaxing and I will leave the photographs to set the scene.

It looks an amazing trip! I always save your blogs and then do a virtual trip, opening one after the other to get the full impact.!! Such a varied range of experiences, Loved the houseboat interlude!! continue to enjoy! we have just had a week where it dropped to -8 here in the Shropshire/ Welsh Marches, so sorting out packing for South Africa in 10 days is very appealing!!

Your wonderful trip..
I know that your trip has to end sometime, but thank you for sharing it with us. I love the comment about "storing up some warmth" as we had a quick email from Tracy on Sunday with the subject "Brrr." Very warm here, and I hope we can get started this week on the painting of the outbuildings. Love Sally and John.
