Happen to visit Bangalor for one day. Went shopping in Kemp fort shopping center whose exterior is a copy of the 'Excalibur' casino, in Lasvegas.
At the back of the shopping mall there is this Shiva temple with its gigantic Shiva and Ganesha statues. Rather unsual scene comparing to other normal hindu temples.
It will be the tower of the temple which will dominate the archetecture but here it is the Shiva statue which takes the prime attention.

BEST WISHES.D.A.SANKAR,D.A.SILKS,100,W.G.C ROAD,THOOTHUKUDI-628002,0461-2325690
My brother took us to this beautiful Shiva temple in August of 2004, it was our highlight of our trip. My daughter and I were spellbound, we felt that we were in kailash and closer to the lord himself. Eversince i have been recommending my U.S friends to keep this as one of their important agenda when they tour around India. What a wonderful gift to humanity.
its simply beautful n u really feel gods presence- once ina life time opputunitny
it's true that the shiva temple in kempfort is awesome. But whether the shopping mall (just in front of the temple) has taken the beauty away from the temple is to be considered.
I used to stay very near this spectacular temple and in my view the Shiva idol is just awesome! If one looks closely at Shiva's face, a keen observer can almost see Shiva's mood reflections.Somtimes he is angry or sometimes smiling. I have always felt Shiva's presence whenever I have been around this idol.
I just visited this shiva temple last week....i hv never seen something that wonderful in my life....the Lord Shiva there look realy great .....anyone going to Banglore should not miss this place....
I was in Bangalore in 2003-2004 and i stayed in place called Murugesh Palaya..where this heaven is located..
Bring your full concentartion deeply to lord shiva here...and cry out your humble requests...he is so kind to us here...and he accepts your prayer here and...sends his blessings..as soon...
I visited this temple on 18 mar 07 with one of my good friend, during my short visit to Banglore. What i can say is "those who are going, even for a single day, should try to visit this temple!! "...thnx
Really no words are suppose to enough to express this great experience.. Here we can see Lord shiva who came directly from kailasam and sat here.. for giving blesses to all devotees.. Thank you..
KempFort is very worst. Plz don't visit or buy anything there.
They will allow you inside only if u look rich or else they will demand you that u should buy for atleast Rs.1000. Also the employees inside have no mannerism they will be behaving like beggars.
Belive me guys, the Lord Shiva is the only effective god whose has his true presence to be believed seek him you shall not be disappointed all your wishes and worries will be fulfilled i have experienced its fruits so its my duty to share his blessings and glory to the world OM NAMA SHIVYA
Its a truely magnificent idol...one shud never miss the darshan and blessings for life time....
It is the most heavenly place that i had ever been to. This is one reason why i liked my stay in bangalore. As long as i was there in bangalore, i made it a point to visit the place everyday. And i have a special word of appreciation for the bhajan singers who make the place all the more divine. let the divine blessings of the magnanimous lord get showered on all those who visit this place.
The moment you enter into this temple and see Lord Shiva's Tapas Posture with half opened Eye. You will feel like you are in the most Safest place you can ever think off. You will completely forget all your worries and trouble if you sit in front and pray and make your wish with good heart. Its one of the finest thing the beautiful ever green Bangalore has. Please dont miss to visit this temple.
yes it is true that the Shiva Temple is beautiful but it is heard that the owner Mr. Ravi V Melvani is minting money from the devotees and spending for his own benefit. Heard that he is also known as a womaniser though he pretends to be a spiritual man....maybe that is the reason that his store has been closed due to loss...

Jitender Tiwari, the COO of the temple is helping the owner Ravi V Melvani in robbing the money from the devotees. It is good that the physically challenged people are given job but only to gain to the emphaty from the devotees...in return they get very less salary. Jitender is stealing money and he is helped by the financer Radha (his love)...hey jitender this is very bad ha....becareful.
the owner of the kempkids suckssss....he always takes the avantage of girl. his personel assistance soumiya is the one ho traps the helpless girl. she is the one who does the whole work and behaves like a dog....indeed she licks the leftover of rvm....becareful girls to go near him

Re: Kempfort Shiva temple
i visited the shiva temple few days back ... it was superb
Give up on religion, it doesn't work. Since when did cutting your hair off achieve anything? Rebel against the corrupt politicians, police and government officials. Demand fair treatment from the rest of the Worls, India is a wonderful country being dragged down by bad traditions.
this temple is awesome!!i went here few days back
Saivism is ancient, truly ageless, for it has no beginning. It is the precursor of the many-faceted religion now termed Hinduism. Scholars trace the roots of Siva worship back more than 8,000 years to the advanced Indus Valley civilization. But sacred writings tell us there never was a time when Saivism did not exist.Lord of lords Is Maha dev lord Shiva, even Vishnu, krishna, and Rama Worshipped Shivji He is Mahakal the god Of all Yugas and Time,Om Nama shivya.
It is very historical and unbelivable temple in Bangalore
the pleasure u get by sitting in front of the almighty lord is immense...its one the most peaceful place i have ever been to... and i wanna thank the trustees to have built so wo0nderful place... for those who have never been there, please don't miss it
I went kemfort several times. The temple of Lord Shiva is really awsome.I never forget those times in my life.

I have been visiting the temple from the construction days...Earlier(before kemp fort) the idol looked as if it has cum from ground, man it was gorgeous...ppl around have maintained the temple well. Shiva's eyes attracts all of us.
Dhyana shiva is one of the finest idols in our country....
I had been to this temple couple of time, my 1st vist was in 2001 and i was fortunate to participate in the arti..... when they were giving people the thali with the diyas, in my mind i wished to get one thali, an in few seconds one person came near me and asked would you like to hold this while arti, i was so surprised, it was like Shivji send him to me with that...... i almost cried......
it is such a peaceful environment, where one can forget all his worries.... i would suggest who ever get a chance to vist Blore, please dont miss the opportunity 2 go there atleast once....
I had been to this temple multiple time and the environment and shiva statue are all very magical and you feel like you are in a different place. I have written about this at http://blog.ramagi.com/2008/04/kempfort-shiva-temple-bangalore.html
