Singapore - Airport... bit overcast
After a four hour layover in Singapore - cruising the duty free shops..... arrived in India in the wee hours of the morning (according to Australian time it was 2am and by the time I hit the hotel it was 4am) So this was 10pm in India - absolute chaos, after getting thru immigration my driver spotted me thankfully, as there are so many people all trying to get you into their cars.
I'm sure road laws are non existant, the dividing lines are just to look good as we spent much of the drive on the centre line, creating a third lane. Indicators are just an unnecessary accessory and they drive just a hare's breath away from the other cars on either side and in front. I had to close my eyes passing people on motorbikes with them so close you could touch them. No one gives way except of course to the cows in the middle of the road - Yes COWS - main road!! Jailable offence if you hit one! Intersections - well just hand on the horn and accelerate! I 've discovered that the use of the horn is mandatory and constant every time you want

inside the airport - very pretty...
to pass or if they get too close (if its possibleto be too close that is)...
At least the hotel room is good and I managed to get some sleep before heading off this morning to the office. Interesting here to have a driver waiting on me..... Into the office early this morning and again saw more cows on the road and lying on the side of the road - having a good time!
Will check out the hotel gym tonight.
