What a night! Contrary to my hopes, the roads got even worse. I don’t think I ever saw potholes that size! At least I managed to sleep somewhat. This morning it didn’t really get any better. First I couldn’t find my contacts, so I was pretty blind to start with, second I was pretty disorientated and had o idea where I was going. Then I happened to run only into people, that didn’t speak English, including my Rickshaw driver. He must’ve sensed my confusion, took his chance and drove me circles around the city without really going where I wanted him to. I managed to get off and found another Rickshaw driver, that seemed nicer, or at least spoke English. He took me to this Hotel, which is decent, clean, central and cheap. I’m pretty overtired right now, since I didn’t really get that much sleep during the past couple of nights either.
The Halloween ended up being fun. First of all, the cops came and took pretty much everything away, that you need to party (food, alcohol, amplifier) and arrested the owner of the place and some guys who worked there. You need to know
that Hampi has special laws about partying and the consumption of alcohol and that both is pretty much forbidden. So everyone pitched in and apparently we gave enough to bail out the guys and bribe the police, so we could continue partying. This is pretty common in India. In fact, the police only comes around to get a good baksheesh, not because anyone would’ve complained. I discovered that psytrance is not my thing, but it was fun anyways.
The next day, we were all kinda trashed and tired, so we didn’t really do anything but going to the Hannuman temple to see the sunset which was so worth climbing the 572 steps up. Yesterday was really sad, cause we all split up. Ellie and Darius left around noon time to go to Hyderabad and Adrian, Erol from Finnland and I left in the evening to go to Bengalore. But before, Amy and I went to the main Temple to get a blessing by the holy Elephant. That was really awesome (pics to follow) Amy stayed with the Swedes to go back to Goa with them. It’s weird being by yourself after having been in such a big, awesome group for
almost a week. Like a classtrip that’s suddenly over. I’m a little sad, but also very thankful that I got to meet all these cool people.
And of course I’m excited to see Bengalore. In fact, I’m gonna get going now, cause I’m meeting Adrian and Erol in a little while. Hopefully, there’ll be an Internetplace on the way, so I can post this.
Miss ya guys!

Bengalore's pertty awesome as far as I can tell! It's definitely not the most indian Place in India, but it's so much fun! Last night we met up with some of Adrasn friends and had cocktail on the 13th floor, overlooking the entire city! Felt somewhat like NYC! Might stay longer than planned!
