She runs like a top....all 800cc's.
Hello All,
It has been a while since I have updated my blog.
I bought a car. It is a 2003 Suzuki Maruti that runs on an 800cc engine which is the smaller than some of the motorcycles in the states. It's a four speed right hand drive and I am getting the hang of shifting and driving on the left. The car has absolutely no power but it get's me where I need to go.
Work is going good and we are almost ready to go live with our Business Processes Outsourcing website. Once the site is up we will work on our Search Engine Optimization, the art of getting the people looking for BPO services to our website.
I have been in Bangalore for the last 4 days and this city is great, there is more energy here than the whole state of Kerala, sorry Keralites but you know it's true.
Bangalore is India's high tech capitol and a lot of foreign companies, like my former Target Stores, have outsourced their IT services here.
The city is full of diversity with people from every corner of not only India but the globe.
ProportionI asked them if they can remove the front seat and I will drive from the back. They thought this request was hillaroius...."yes folks I will be here all night..thank you"
I went to a nightclub at a 5 star hotel named the Leela. I was with some friends and thanks to Anju we were able to gain access. Inside the club there are two levels, the ground floor is your average city goer, but up three stairs sits private little booths where the Bollywood Stars, Cricket Players and the sons and daughters of government officials party. The music was really good and we danced the night away all the way to the 1130pm curfew that is imposed on all bars in the city. I was told that up until a few years ago you could easily party until 6am but the newest government has imposed strict regulations to curtail the use of party drugs like ecstasy and cocaine.
There is a great selection of food in Bangalore. I went to an all you can eat BBQ at your table place and it was $9US a person...not bad.
Enjoy the photos of not only Bangalore but of moments I have captured over the past week or so.
