ATD - Day one of a New Year

Alexia and I spent a quiet day recovering from the celebrations of the night before. We spent several hours under an umbrella at Johncy’s, during which I emerged victorious from a hotly contested game of travel-scrabble. Only because I was to drunk from the Pina Coladas I was sipping all afternoon babe! (ABD)
We walked south down the beach and enjoyed a magical Goan sunset, distinctive for its changing spectrum of reds as it plunges spectacularly into the Arabian Sea. We caught up with the rest of our gang as evening closed in, and had a forgettable dinner at the ‘Hard Rock’, a showing of a Will Smith sci-fi adding to the bitter taste of below-par food.
