We have no shortage of pictures of flowers. There are plenty of them to take pictures of.

The trip back to town took us through this cemetery which was very interesting.

Swimming under the lights

I am not a big fan of swimming but after a long day of hiking in the heat and humidity this outdoor pool was wonderful.

They really keep the place clean. You get the idea about the sidewalks. If you take a wrong street there aren't a lot of choices for recovery.

Peak Tram coming to get us

First thing in the morning is definitely the time to take the tram. At Christmastime, the line up for the evening run was incredible. The ride is steep. I put my daypack on the floor and thought I had lost it! It slid back about 4 rows!

As we got around the other side of the Peak we could see Lamma island where we had been the day before. The view from here included the power plant.

Even the trail around the Peak is regularly swept. We met lots of workers keeping the area spic and span.

The aviary in the middle of the park is huge and full of birds of the most interesting colors. The are some monochrome birds too but we thought this one was really neat.

What looks at first glance like a stairway is actually a long gentle waterfall. Very restful.

Haven't posted a picture of a neat looking modern building for a while. We think this one qualifies as neat.

Pretty easy to relax in this gorgeous environment. This area used to be the barracks for the colonial troops. Big improvement. And we could even get a cappuccino in the bar!

These ferries whisk you to Macau in less than an hour. Not much to see on the crossing of the Pearl Estuary but the entrance to Macau is pretty interesting.
