Finally...I got some well needed sleep, about 3 hours mid afternoon!!! Its not quite what the Doctor ordered but when your bodyclock is as messed up as a bowl of spaghetti like mine...anything will do!
Tonight was the Cocktail Cruise on Victoria Harbour, so whilst I observed with awe and wonder Hong Kong at Night...there were a few Vodkas being silently sunk! I found being intoxicated out on a boat in the middle of a harbour very disorientating and when it came to the apparant end of the cruise, I disembarked and went for a wander along the quay to get the courtesy coach back to the hotel. However, not being able to find said coach...I asked a very pretty young kiosk attendant for directions and it wasnt until she began looking very confused at my map when the penny began to drop and that I was indeed on the wrong side of the river!!!! However, I made the best out of a bad situation by hopping on board the reknowned Star Ferry service back to Tsim Sha Tsui (try saying that under the influence) for a matter of pence and got back in time to witness the laser light show...amazing how a technical blip can work out sooooo well isnt it!
Earlier in the day, I visited the Avenue of Stars (similar to the one in LA)...which was kinda interesting before fulfilling another lifetime ambition, to see a Hong Kong Santa!!! I was both amazed and a tad worried coz everyone knows Santa is white but my faith was restored in the world when a little boy presented me with an orange and wished me Happy Christmas...awwwww
I frequented the 'Sip Sip Bar' downstairs tonight and was back on the red wine too. Its kinda quirky in the sense that most bars in the uk show news shows or sporting events but in the 'Sip Sip Bar'they have taken drinking to a new level with fashion shows!!! Yep, I am hooked on this concept...what better way to get trollied whilst ogling scantily clad catwalk models parading their wares!!
