So this morning we woke up around 9:30am got showered in the smallest shower I've ever seen, good power though always a plus. Heat is still above 30 degrees here. James picked us up and we went to see the big Budda and its big! amazing cable car trip and views (pictures to follow) I'm finding Hong Kong to be very busy and croweded but in some areas still peaceful. On the way back to the cable car James "treated us" to some tofu flower (very intresting) also what we think was shark on a stick (not terrible) and a beer followed whilst watching some monks perfom martial arts. This was amazing there kicks were as fast as lightining .....
The cable car back was intresting too we got a clear floor one which ment we could see the whole way around us.
Afterwards we found a new hostel (Dragon hostel) and booked for the rest of our trip. The food that night was HOT POT ( now that to me sounded amazing but as we found out it was'nt exactly Betty's hot pot from corrie!) We also met with Simon and Katie 2 of James friends.
This involved a big pot of water (soup) and then we cooked what we wanted to eat in the soup, now being new to this James once again "treated us" to local food.(readers should look away now if in any way soft stumached)
The list of food included- Cow stumach, Chicken balls (yes that is what you think), Goose intestine, Ostrich, Beef and various other "delicasies".
This is how day 2 ended for me. As afterwards we went to the western district for beers and what happened when we got there I can't say. (refer to buggs blog)
