The Rise of the Emperor of the North-RA-RA-RAS-PUTIN...Lover of the Mean Machine!

Who is the emperor of the north? (certainly not lee marvin)-In communist times it was often prophesied by many paranoid Christians that it was Russia- a new Zealand prophet - the one that had the heart attack on stage- smith - i think- mentioned exactly that;

but with the fall of the wall in Berlin we ALL thought that what a lot of baloney...

since 1991 Russia got a bad dose of humble pie... but then something NEW began to emerge...

OIL... GAS... no longer having to supply the rest of its communist satellites like cuba with cheap oil... Russia the largest country in the world... suddenly became KLONDIKE to every carpetbagger in town including myself.

I in fact remember what we called " operation goldfinger"- second hand planes for a ship of oil- but times have changed and just as people changed- the survivors were the ones that survived- whether it was through the right connections as in the case of roman abramovitch and his relationship to yeltzins daughter ...or others- suddenly there emerged the nouveau riche... the NEW RICH CLASS in Russia, and it felt like the 80 s all over again- 300 dollars for a hooker - 200 000 dollars and you get a bentley or rolls- which by the way is normally paid for in cash. In a suitcase... (jet black is the favorite color) - and you can drive fast in moscow if the road is empty...and if you get busted ... you slip out a 100 note and say: dasvidanya...( good bye)

and we all thought russia would end up as a broke country that had or would never have any power...

But then the BEAR began to awaken... itself from its winter sleep...

PUTIN became russia... EVEN THE MAFIA BOSSES ANSWER TO HIM!... he calls the shots when someone gets outta line... and he epitoimises the russian zeal , its passion... HE IS RUSSIA!... PROUD- ARROGANT-cruel - Ruthless- clear- intelligent tsarist and now... POWERFUL...! I recall once in st.Petersburg i spoke to a young russian drinking tea next to a window three stories up around 7 am... ( black tea)- what is russia ? I asked...
He threw the tea out the window - with the cup.... lifted up and cracked a beer- looked at me...and said: VLA-DI-MIR PUTIN... !!! And then slugged down the whole beer...in a few gulps...

That made me think...

So as I began to pray and seek God on this issue- i discovered just how much wealth was coming into the Russian coffers...BILLIONS AND BILLIONS... OF DOLLARS... BABY!

so much it seems that it had to take rain check in swiss before the international clearing houses could change it into or back to rubles.

what that means in "plainspeak" is that the russian ruble was in danger of getting too strong too quickly...

when i visited moscow 2 years ago i was impressed at its levels of internet access that is still far ahead anything ive seen in the uk. i mean- get this...in moscow you can use your cellphone underground...

the uk just got mobile broadband- russia who jumped into the scene last had it years before...

NASA services its freedom station from russia. Yes , we all know its corrupt and doesn't like western influence... but then i saw a vision of this russian bear joing in forces with the eagle against the lion...

and then the Holy Spirit over the last 6 months has been giving me the rhema ( living ) word ....GO EAST!

What I can say is this... Russia is NOT experiencing a credit crunch... in 2006 there were around 40 billionaires living in Moscow... now theres around a 100.

And whilst there are many that struggle through each winter to survive... Russia is one helluva country if you got money...

and with this NEW COCAINE of wealth running through the veins of the nouveau riche... suddenly it dawned upon them ... its time to ARISE;... i realize now with real eyes the real lies... america -europe-Britain is losing its dominance in international relations...there are new players in the world power game...

In any power vacuum ...the universal law states that something else must fill it... it can be applied to anything...

your garden for example... if you plant a garden with grass seed and theres not enough seed to cover the entire area...what happens? you have empty space... and what will come in?

WEEDS! HA!

So - with Mr "Bush-es"(PUN NOT INTENDED) exercises in Iraq and Afghanistan the last few years... its amazing trillion dollar debt... the rise of the east has come...china- India and ...RUSSIA..

and europe through its wimpy actions of disunity has shown a clear lack of leadership... the only credible leader at the moment is sarcozy... blair would have been his equal or helmut kohl... but then again... the French have always been good at diplomacy...

and so the emperor of the north has revealed himself... for this time and for this age...

and as the prophecy goes... he shall wage war on the queen of the south...

So who is the eagle?

the Germans?
the polish?
the albanians?...

or the americans....

i wonder...

so then we had america teaming up with poland and saying... we are going to stand in the gap... but this chess gambit didnt work with the russians... who by the way- would never have an alliance with any aspiring germans( poles) -

no this alliance is clearly with the germans... who have a history of war... of business - and of tete a tete...

remember that guy that flew into red square form Berlin?

and this flexing of the new strength of the bear has been felt in Georgia...

birthplace of Stalin...

where will this conflict go next?

ukraine perhaps? where many eastern Ukrainians are thinking shall we be better off with russia - the east or with Europe - the west...

and suddenly the west has woken up to a new reality...

OIL IS DRAINING OUR COFFERS DRY.In fact to use a russian term...the bear has clearly said to mr bush...and mr brown... BIZ-DITZS-( GO FU** YOURSELF)

Russia has more oil underground than the whole of the middle east put together....

with record prices and the will to rebuild ... the emperor of the north... is about to fill in the vacumn that china has bought in American debts...

make no mistake... the worm has turned... the power has shifted... EAST...!

and it is interesting to note that... one in six jewish people living in Israel ...are Russian...

mmmmm!

Whatever the end time scenario is-(Russia vs Iran- Russia vs America- Russia vs Nato- Russia AND IRAN vs America and Israel-who knows...) I really feel that God is calling on the church to move east just as the eastern church in china and the orient is calling on the church in the west to move east...

I have friends who predict that Vladimir Putin will find his new position as Russian prime minister a comedown after eight years as President. I doubt it. Putin is more likely to define his job than be defined by it. After our first meetings, in 1999 and 2000, I described him in my journal as "shrewd, confident, hard-working, patriotic, and ingratiating." In the years since, he has become more confident and — to Westerners — decidedly less ingratiating.

Some believe Putin's KGB background explains everything, but his allegiance to the KGB is in turn explained by his intense nationalism — which accounts for his popularity in Russia. Timing matters in history, and Putin has had the benefit of high oil prices and the contrast with his predecessor, Boris Yeltsin. His vision of Russia is that of a great power in the old-fashioned European sense. Such powers have spheres of influence and subjugate lesser powers. At home, they celebrate national traditions and prize collective glory, not individual freedom.

Tolstoy described the 19th century count Mikhail Speransky as a "rigorous-minded man of immense intelligence, who through his energy...had come to power and used it solely for the good of Russia." What one found disconcerting, though, "was Speransky's cold, mirror-like gaze, which let no one penetrate to his soul [and] a too great contempt for people." It is possible to love the idea of a nation without caring too much for its citizens.

It is unlikely that Putin, 55, will wear out his welcome at home anytime soon, as he has nearly done with many democracies abroad. In the meantime, he will remain an irritant to nato, a source of division within Europe and yet another reason for the West to reduce its reliance on fossil fuels.
