bird watching in Lashi Lake

Lashi Lake is the center of Lashi Lake Nature Reserve Area, it is just far away from Lijiang Old Town about 8km. it is the heaven of migratory birds in winter time. There are about 300,000 birds come here to through the winter from Tibet and Siberia, because there are some reasons: good temperature, enough food, safety and clean environment. During winter time is best time for birdwatching.



Today we planed to spend whole day in Lashi Lake area to get some nice photos of birds. We were kind of later get to Lashi Lake, we only could see few kinds of birds by lake. We went back again in the later afternoon, we saw many birds and got nice pictures like below:
