We have been in Dali town for the past seven days, it's lovely here, but poor Marc has been unwell with a very nasty cold for five of those days. So, whilst I have been waiting for his health to improve and in between nursing duties, I have...

Having thoroughly enjoyed being at home in England for the past two and a bit years, we are now heading off again. This time we are starting in Morocco (November 2010) and travelling with Oasis Overland, down to Cape Town. This leg should take about 5 months, after which we will be travelling independently and might visit parts of the East Coast and then carry on to Asia for a year or so. Often ate at this fantastic cafe.

Visited this opticians and had two ...

pairs of bespoke sunglasses made.

Confused a non English speaking printer ...

... by ordering strange contact cards.

Found, probably the only hand made soap shop in all of China.

Ordered two Vietnamese visas from here.

Consumed wonderful coffee & cakes in "Sweet Tooth Cafe".

What an amazing journey I particularly admire your courage re: facial and hair appointment and what great results. You look great. The bookshop look as though hours could be lost in exploring and - I hope Marc is feeling better and looking rested to match up with the young woman he is escorting. Love and Hugs

Firstly, I hope that Markster is feeling much better now. Secondly, I am LOVING (now, that 's a grammtical mistake, sorry) all your travel blogs and great pictures( I really enjoyed pics of all those lovely flowers last time!)have a great time and keep us updated!Love from very windy Poland!xxx

i hope marc is feeling better. drink lots of warm or hot fluids and get in some salt and some sugars. it's a nasty drink but it helps. hot water with salt and honey. take good care and enjoy your travels. thanks so much for sharing your experience. ~Anna
