better late than never

hey fellas!!

know this is really late sorry this took forever. been inundated with texts and emails aplenty promulgating the dangers and perils of the recent earthquake that inflicted china. really gotta thank the big guy up there He's been really good. props to you guys too appreciate the concern i feel vey loved haha. im pretty far off the afflicted area so everthing's pretty safe here. we're now in yangshuo its a quaint little town thats still pretty much an idyllic getaway. i wont say rustic and unsullied per se cos china isnt quite like southeast asia where the populace is intermittently sporadic in pockets here and there. its massive the critical mass here. over here its adulterated a tad bit; even chelsea and andy said so despite being here a yr ago. but it certainly is a stellar place. i havent got photos cos after touching down in guangzhou we hung for a day or so before boarding the overnight bus here. and guangzhou was just grey, morose and drab as any industrial town would be.

all ive got is a graphic i ripped from andy from his travelblog! its the itinerary for our sojourn this time. we're gonna hang in yangshuo quite abit; take a bus out of here to guilin for an hr+ to get our chinese visas done. then off to the most westward part in urumqi and kashgar (where they filmed the kite runner) how kickass rite! celestial stuff la those rolling hills and plains that seem to go on forever. and the people! over in that part of china, actually for the most part save for the beijing shanghai and co. coteirie of areas, alot of the Chinese are actually Muslims did you know?? all the stan stan stan (read afghanistan and the likes) percolate with their influence and seep into China.

ok i retract my words. big time. after lunch we cycled out to the countryside it was ooh lala mama mia. made me mince my words.
we found ourselves a river where only the locals know and christened it 'the beach'; a la leonardo di caprio's movie. haha go catch it. or read it. it'd surface the 'richard' or 'francois' in you; and ignite the wanderlust in you. ok i wont say too much i'd let the visuals articulate a discourse so surreal it'd beggar belief. it was truly a sight to behold. the fake xiao guilin back in sg is contrived and real decrepit. this is the real deal. we swam in it! i havent got much other photos i'd like to post cos this internet cafe is really shabby. the usb port all messed up. hahaha make me the original computer gooner sound so elevated. ok gotta join the gang soon for english corner at chelsea's school. where they just got speak to kids; converse and hang and all. with free beer in exchange!
in china its really badass. they havent got stuff like reuters and bbc and cnn and all the works. not even blogger! says alot huh?
