Ophthalmologist joining a medical team providing clinical care and academic exchange programs in West China. Sponsored by the Dean McGee Eye Institute (DMEI), this trip supports the existing eye care infrastructure in the country with additional clinical care, educational exchanges and research. The focus this year finalize and deploy a pilot program that will lead to the creation of a new eye institute for the southwest China region.
