May 30, 2012 (Dujiangyan (...or on the way there)) Wednesday afternoon we made a field trip to visit a privately owned county level eye hospital in Dujiangyan - one of the areas we visited during the 2008 earthquake. Because there was no time left while Dr. Skuta was still in Sichuan, we decided to have a follow up meeting in the back of the bus. Much less formal, this was a great opportunity to openly share thoughts, concerns and ideas with Dr. Fan. Overall a productive exchange and a good framework being laid out for future collaboration.
