Greetings from China! So let me go ahead and dive right in and tell you my motivations behind this website. First and foremost I created this website with my friends and family in mind; I wanted to use this travel blog as a medium to communicate my experiences, ideas, inspirations, and the like, to all of you who care to know what I am doing here in China. Secondly, I hope this blog will act as a forum for intelligent discourse between myself and the reader. Initially I wanted to utilize this blog to document my daily life: my experiences, beliefs and pictures, but then I realized that a blog has so much more potential; it can be a vehicle for acute and resourceful exchange of ideas . In my own personal experience, I think my specific generation missed the whole blog phenomenon. I personally cannot speak on behalf of everyone who fall within my generation, but among my networks of friends, I can honestly say that blogging never had an engrossing appeal. I simply never took the time and moreover, any interest in reading blogs. But now I can see the benefits of a blog now that I am thousands
