We have received several questions about the apartment where Julie and I are staying. This post is dedicated to Chris and Xiao Xiao's apartment. Xiao Xiao and baby Eris are staying at her father's (Chinese Grandfather). Chris is back and forth staying with Xiao Xiao and sometimes sleeping here.

Julie and I have been sleeping in the master bedroom where there is a space heater. The building has central heat with radiators throughout. However the tenants and owners have not been able to agree to share the expense of turning on the system. Chris has two dogs so we also have to be mindful of which areas of the apartment are doggie-proof.

Our travelers’ bags and items are littered throughout the picture of the master bedroom. Usually all those items wouldn’t be on the floor for the doggies to investigate.

Thanks Debbie. Sorry I was not responsive while we were traveling back to the states. I had limited internet access. So happy I could travel with Julie. It was a trip of a life time. I am a mortgage banking friend of hers. Never a travel agent. Did I miss my calling?

Are you leaving today or tomorrow?
I can't seem to get into this time difference! Thank you for the delightful narrative and I join in with Debbie's remarks that she glad Julie got to share this trip with you. I'm sure it made it all the more enjoyable for her. Hope to meet you in person sometime.

Leaving today or tomorrow?
Hi Karla We left Sunday night and got back to Washington DC Monday night. Julie slept at my house and then took a flight to Florida this morning (Tuesday). I still have some entries to do!
