Welcome to Zhongshan

Hi Everyone!!!

Sorry it has been so long!!!!

I finally have internet access in my flat. Communication here is not the easiest, phones work in the local area so while I am here please contact me by email. When I make visits to Hong Kong I will have my mobile (with the Hong Kong number) very confusing, I know so it is probably best if you just email me!

Well life here is Zhongshan is interesting. The school is ok, a little unorganised at times, but everyone there is lovely. Summer school starts on Monday so it shall be rather hetic for the next 3 weeks.

I arrived here just as a lot of people here finished, so I met some really lovely people but they have now gone. I have a very nice Irish flatmate and the flat itself is fine. There is a nice Irish pub nearby that you can get yummy pizza, getting food here is interesting, but I have some pasta, rice and potatoes so I shall survive, but it is very cheap to eat out, we are going to an Italian place for lunch tomorrow so hopefully that shall be nice.

Zhongshan is a ncie place but there is not an awful lot to do, I'm still getting settled in, and I am looking forward to the Summer school.

The visa situation means I have to visit Hong Kong every 30 days (i'm not complaining!) so on Friday I shall be going back to Hong Kong to annoy Johnny for the weekend. Main things I have to do is to eat some nice food and stock up at the bookshop.
