My first blog

Well this is really a test of my blog to see how it works. I've been in China a month now and its been fantastic! so far haven't been out of Beijing but its been good exploring the city etc...Havent been to too many of the classic Beijing tourist places apart from Tiananmen Square, and the Forbidden City but i expect i'll do them all at some point!We went to the China (tennis) open last week for one afternoon, which was fun but pretty empty, our centre court tickets were 25 kuai! (about 1.80ish) so its pretty cheap.

Tomorrow I'm going to the Great Wall of China with my friend Laura. We're going with a group of i think around 100 students part of the BICF (Beijing International Christian Fellowship) church and we're all sleeping on the wall! no idea what it will be like but hugely excited! I think this is the church that i'm going to go to most weeks, its got a great atmosphere and mostly worship songs that i know, a fair amount of hillsongs classics!

At the moment I'm doing some homework (yes homework, its like being back at primary school!) We have 8am lessons every morning, break times, vocab tests the lot! We're taught in chinese as they're are Koreans and other nationalities in our class and its quite hard to follow at times but i'm working on it!
