If you have been noticing a trend I have been starting my blog stories off with Linda Taggart antics. I figured why stop know....
Linda Taggart is a cat napper. She naps wherever and whenever she can or cannot help it, plane, the bus, Peking Opera..etc..etc. Me on the contrary, if I lay down, I am out for the count, no naps here unless I can sleep for two hours plus. Well again, after a very long day (7:00am-10:00pm) at the Great Wall of China, Jade shopping, Ming Tombs, Peking duck dinner, Peking Opera (Linda has napped in between all these places, mind you) we finally arive back at the hotel and I am shutting down and Linda decides she wants to start making plans and talk to the tour Manager, have ME type in blog, look up who won Dancing with the Stars & Celebrity Apprentice, math homework, etc, etc. everything but bed:) Thank God for Bejeweled (the game), this has proven to be an excellent babysitter in times of needed rest. (Linda is addicted!Look out Kim, Linda is on a rampage!)
We visited the Great Wall of China. Awesome of course, but there was snow in them thar hills. So Linda only made it to the half way point of the start of the wall and slid back down. [I didn't have the proper shoes. If I had my boots, I could have done it! ...Linda] I made it all the way up to where the major steps are climbing straight up the mountain and then I slid all the way back down. And literally there were people sliding down the wall. It was sleeting, so there was ice not to mention freezing cold!!!
I discovered that I am not a Peking Duck eater. Dinner was less then desiarable and I have been craving for a burger for the last day now or just for something not sweet & sour, terriakied, or green. [I LOVE Peking Duck!!! It was great to me.!!!....Linda] But, after dinner we had a very special surprise waiting for us The "Peking Opera", or should I say a special surprise waiting for me. Not only was I surprised at China's 200 year old art form (the Opera is the highest expression of Chinese culture) but I was even more surprised to find that when I turned around to see the delight in my felllow adventurer's faces, I found one brushing her teeth, one sleep, another sleep, another sleep, one so sleep she was falling out of her chair and the sleeping continues on. And yes, you know to count Linda in those #'s of sleeping westerners. So the comic relief was not only found onstage, but off stage also.
I got to sleep in today, hence why the blog entry is a little late. We are stiff and tired and are going to make use of the steam room, jacuzzi, and sauna. Steam room and sauna are listed differently, so I m really curious as to what the difference is. We are gonna try and recharge today and this evening it is off to the Beijing Acrobat show!
And by the way, I did get my burger today! It's called room service. -Jossalyn

Let me see, I have had a burger, (Joss I am sure mine was better than yours) and some chinese food this week. I too have climbed the great wall china. Linda you can try it again when you come home, we have a great wall behind our sofa. (Laugh!!) Sinckers and Sheldon miss you guys and want you to bring home a Panda Bear. It would be cute but they eat 50 pounds of food a day. I am not worried about be mauled, Snickers has mauled me several times. I explained to Snickers that we would not be able to store that much food, basically he told me that was no excuse. That's your son.!! I am enjoying your blog, it makes me laugh.
So glad to read your antics of your trip as I am sitting here at work. Linda--you sound like my mom--sleeping anywhere and everywhere. Josselyn, keep her going and I'll keep reading. Love the toilet.
