The journey so far part 1

Hello everyone first thing first we are both still alive!

7hr flights are fun the first plane, the 2nd, however, not so fun! But we make it into bangkok airport ok even getting the taxi was fairly easy-went straight to hotel which was nice, no fight on our hands to stay at their great uncles place.
Ok so we feeling adventurous we managed this far so we headed straight out to bangkok centre another taxi and the sky train we getting brave now! After a wander round the fancy shops we headed to the night markets - amazing places just becareful not to pay too attention to their stalls otherwise thats it- your in the shop n they have your money lol!

Monday - Another day in bangkok this time Wat Pho! Amazin places to look round we missed the grand palace which was a bit gutting! But maybe squeeze it in on the last day?
We checked out the train station so we all ready for tomorrow. The real adventure begins!!

Tuesday - we leave for the train station at 5am, crazy time. All settled ready to go when a english lady came n sat next to us for company! She promised she would stop talking when the train started moving... 3 half hours later shes still going n very much loving God and Jesus!!(wierdo...) However she did save us money by getting us on the local buses instead of going buy taxi which was faor enough.

Queue at the border for entry into Cambodia was painful... It took forever. Piopet, the town other side of the border was a dump, even worse than Redcar.
We got a bus to the taxi rank and grabbed a taxi to Siem Reip, about 2 and half hours away. Slept most of that and it was tipping it down the whole way, so didnt miss much. Quite a flat landscape, lots of wooden shaks... Not very glamorous! The hotel, Bou Savy, is lush and green, got a nice little restaurant and wireless adsl. Toparge.

Tomorrow we are gonna get a tuktuk to Ankar Wat, making three days of that. Weather is nice for rest of this week so should be good crack.
