We spent 2 days at the huge Angkor Archaeological Park marvelling at the Temples of Angkor. Located about 20 minutes tuk tuk drive from Siem Reap, the entry fees for a 3 Day Pass (there's only either 1 or 3 Day Pass to choose from) was a killer, a whopping US$40 (S$57).
Our driver would drop us at the various temple sites while giving us ample time to explore the temple compounds. H would always try his best to share his knowledge of the various bas beliefs and symbolisation of the sculptures and temples. Even though he claimed that he was not being a good guide at times, in my own eyes,
"He was the best!"
My understanding of the temples was reinforced after his explanation, after reading through the Pirated Lonely Planet which I bought it at the temples' compund and and after admiring the marvellous temples at our own pace.
