Our first two nights in JoBurg were at the Airport Game Lodge, “Where Wild is Mild, and Game is Tame.” We selected the Pretoria City Tour of the Vortrekker Monument, Church Square, and Paul Kruger House. He knew how to live, but died in exile.
We have 10 million Zimbabwe Dollar notes that won’t buy a stick of gum. Zimbabwe only deals in U.S.D. and S. Africa Rand which are also basically worthless but easy to convert. We tried to eat at Wimpy’s, but after our first two choices were “not available”, and we looked at the kitchen, we purchased American Champaign (Coke) and moved on.
