 A Place Called Matopis |

Today my cousin Ashley came out and picked me and a few other people up and we went up to a tourist spot known as 'Matopis'. This place is on the world heritage list so a spectacle viewing was in order. Lucky for us the Zim rain was pouring down as heavy as Elephents gushing urine in which I witnessed the other weekend; heavy, wet and at great speeds.
The place itself is very nice. The main thing about it is that everything is rock. Huge rock figures are planted all over the park; many you can climb; but being with females who where scared of getting a bit wet from the rain sadly we stuck to the car route. We got to a place called Worlds View which we DID climb up. It's called Worlds View because you can see out everywhere when you reach the top. Worlds View has everything on Ayres Rock... even though I've never seen it before. Pics to come soon!
At Matopis we also checked out the caves where Ancient Bushman would paint on the walls and leave there presence. Sadly most of it was destroyed due to Vandalism; still a very interesting site.
Althought the afternoon was spoiled greatly by rain; Matopis has some great sights with some very impressive rock formations. There were some good wildlife on hand as well.. I almost got my first pic of a baboon but the damn thing bound into the bush.. never to be seen again.
Tonight I went to 'the place to be' in downtown Bulawayo. I went out for the first time since being away from home.. to the local Club aka Beer Hall. They call there club 'The I.V League'.. I have no idea why 'League' needs to be in a club name.. anyways this place was going off. There was hundreds of (white) people all cramped in this tiny little room with a variety of 70's, 80's and 90's music playing. It seemed a few strangers already knew of me from past stories and a few photos taken... the zim girls aren't to bad either. After a round of cheep beer and a few memorys to last a lifetime I headed back to the house with my cousin Ashley. All in all a good day/night out but tiredness is catchin up on me!

fuck man, you enjoying yourself. We are so close to each other..... I could swim to your island from here. Im going to see how much money I have, might pop into Jo berg hahaha. My trip is going good, nearlly finished...about 7 days left. When you get back, we must exchange stories.
