Love the little children! The end of a long exciting month is finally upon us! With it being Halloween today the missionary kids decided to dress up in costumes for last night's devotional over at The Smelser's house. Dr. Danny & Nancy have been such a blessing to have around. Arusha had it's Ladies Seminar, We had one man baptized through the House to Housestudies that the men were doing, Brent drove to Kenya to sign papers for the container, and the kids and I went to our first ever Rugby game What a day! The ladies seminar went great! We had about 42 ladies there, studying about women's roles in the church, and it was wonderful! The Short rains of Tanzania have slowly started to begin! We have been having a little rain each day this week, up until today! For two days in a row it just poured down... An empty room, an empty refrigerator (wait, that doesn’t really mean anything at my house), and an empty house are all that’s left. Two years of preparing has found itself knocking at the door. It seemed like such a long time to wait, and now it is here. It was a hot and humid September morningwhen I was picked up from the Heron Hotel in Nairobi by the bright yellow Absolut Africa truck. Ahead of me awaited 28 days of wild life adventures, campsite bonfires, beautiful beaches and safaris overlanding through five African countries (Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe). We decided to escape Moshi for a few days to give Dani a chance to recuperate in some semblance of peace and quiet, not from the malaria, but instead the large quantity of Larium she had to take in the space of 12 hours.
