It is sometimes mind boggling to think of all the work that goes on to help our family live in Tanzania. Our finances and personal business have to be looked after in the States, our monthly newsletter must be printed and mailed, thoughtful friends and family take time to send care packages, treasurers mail our support each month, caring individuals create displays about our work on a bulletin boards, etc.
We want to introduce you to a few of the people who are great helpers in our work. Kipton and Gina Garrett are members of the church in Dyer, AR. Kipton, an M.D., cares much about the Lord's church, and in addition to his full-time occupation as Dr., preaches for the congregation in Dyer. The Dyer Church of Christ has taken on the role of overseeing our work. Kipton has been a great voice in promoting our work. Gina, Kipton's wife, is also an M.D., but chose to lay aside this occupation, in order to raise their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Gina has spent hours upon hours taking care of our finances. She has been a wonderful help to us, and is a blessing to
all who know her.
Another necessary aspect of mission work is reporting to our supporters and others interested in our work. This means that someone is needed to print our report each month, address envelopes, stamp them, and get them mailed in a timely manner. Ronald and Jennifer Jensen, along with their two girls, Laura and Amy, have willingly taken on this job, and have been a great asset to the work. Often times, adults tend to overlook the capabilities of children, but not so with Ronald and Jennifer. They have involved their sweet daughters in the monthly task of mailing our report. These girls are excited to be a vital part of our mission effort.
There are many others who help our work, such as church treasurers, who make sure that our support is mailed each month, and those who see that our report is made available to the congregation. I know of several congregations who have made a display of our work, including a binder with a collection of our blog entries, so that everyone has an opportunity to read them, especially those who do not have access to a computer. This means that a caring
individual has taken the time to do this.
As you can see, our work is a team effort - not just our family, but many other willing hands ready to serve in whatever way they can. Our thanks goes to all of you who willingly help the cause of Christ in Tanzania.
In Christian Love,
Joy

Sweet people helping other sweet people do the Lord's work, evangelizing the lost of Tanzania. Don't think it gets any better than that, only Heaven will be better. We are thankful for the Jensen's and for all those who have made the Jensen's possible. One of our elders said the other day that if we are willing that makes us able-I believe that and I also believe that it is those sweet folks behind the scene's that make all of us realize just how powerful the providence of God is working in our very own lives, and the multitude of wonderful people who hold our hands up. You good people are doing a wonderful job and we thank God for you. just ken
