Probably still woke up at 6am and was thinking about go for a quick morning run, but for whatever reasons, just want to stay in bed for a bit longer and end up getting up at around 8:15am, and that is a record breaking for the days I'm here so far since I was consistently getting up around 6-7am.

Language training continued on this morning, the weird part in Swahili is their way of describe time is not quite exactly the same as in English, there's actually 6hrs difference, so if it's 10am in the morning, the way they say it actually translate into 4pm in the afternoon, kinda bizarre. Aziz took us on to a street to do some practice, was kinda fun, language is something really needs lots of practice. Went for a quick run before lunch with Brittany and Byrana on the street since the kids are gone for school so no soccer, the run wasn't too bad, kinda of smokey though, I guess we attract some attention on the street too, it's kinda of crazy to run in the middle of street in an Tanzania town in the middle of the day, oh, well, i don't really care, did a bit more after the girls are done, run back to the bridge that we went to earlier for the language training. was pretty good.

Guys started to discuss the idea of doing trekking Mt Meru in 24hrs, it's a bit crazy idea since all the tour companies do it in a 3-4days trip, it's a 36km round way trail, 3000m elevation gain, but apparently only take up to 18hrs to do it with average pace, so we might be able to do it in like 12-15hrs if we really pick up our pace and dont stop very much, it's an pretty exciting idea, so did some research on that in the afternoon, but couldn't really find someone actually did it in 24hrs, or they just didn't post it, Brittany seems interested in the idea so we might have to do in 2 days since it would be pushing too much to do in a day, still a crazy idea though, we'll see how it shapes out.

Went to the internet cafe in the late afternoon since I can't get any pics upload into blog from the house, it's just mission impossible, the cafe actually is not too bad, ok speed connection, after 45min i got the pics up and only paying TSH1000 for that, (about 80cents), I guess I might go back there a bit more often, plus they sell decent cookie too... :-)

We suppose to go to this Khan's BBQ place for dinner, but we just found out that one of Teagon's close friend passed away today, so the girls decided to stay to comfort her, so only 5 of us end up going to the BBQ place, the chicken there is pretty good, kinda remind me of the street restaurant in China, and it getting busy at night too. we brought the food back for the girls, guess it'll be a tough night for Teagon. it's frustrating when you're that far away and things happened without you even around, it was a really bad timing considering she just start her volunteer program a couple of days ago. There're so many things that are out of our control in our life and we should just learn to let them go sometimes.

Having a banana wine and a smoke while finishing up this blog under a sky of stars, could life be any better? Lala salama (Good night)
