Ngwenya Glass (aka “gator glass”)

March 18, 2012 (Just across the Swazi border) This is the glass blowing place just inside the Swazi border where we had a nice outdoor lunch. The glass is all recycled from soda pop bottles, remelted and blown into the artifacts sold. From tiny menageries of typical African animals, colorful glass bowls, goblets and funky vases there was a lot to see. Given we arrived on a Saturday, we were unable to see them glass blowing which would have been interesting to see.
