I now have a mailing address! More details available through messaging me on facebook. Don't want to put the address up here. Why? Well, here's something interesting, that once again reminded me what a small place even the internet is...
S. comes home from work a day or so ago and asks "Hey, do you have a blog?"
"Um... yeah. Why?" (I assumed she stumbled upon it in the history on her computer.)
"Well, my senior political officer mentioned that he found it. He thought it had to be one of my guests."
"... ... I promise you there is nothing bad in there."
So, from now on... no full names or addresses, because that throughly freaked me out. o_O ::waves to the senior political officer:: I suppose he may have caught the initial blunder where I was confused as to whether I was in Manzini or Mbabane. (Jetlag is an ugly thing.) Damn, now I can't make up bold-faced lies! Curses. Well, I hadn't actually planned on doing that in the first place-- I assume that being in Africa will end up being interesting enough.
Nothing too interesting today or yesterday. Yesterday I wandered around town for a bit, and today I woke up late because my stomach was not happy during the night. I might go looking for the hairdresser a little later to get some advice on what to do with my hair.
Today I put in quite a few more emails and applications. There were some parts of websites I couldn't access properly, so had to "cold email" a few places. So far, I have heard back from UNICEF, who asked for a CV. So, now I have a CV, versus a resume. And tomorrow, if things go maybe according to plan (not holding out hope, because after all, this is Africa) I may be meeting with some nuns. I'm hoping to learn some more about the orphanage(s?) they run, and to see where they need volunteers. And if that does not work out, I will be hunting for the post office, since I have a ton of postcards (of things I haven't actually seen) to mail out.
More later, perhaps. Sala kahle.

You're there! Made it through Johannesburg (sp) and to Swaziland with no true crises? I'm very glad to read that.
Looking forward to your next post, and getting an address so I can start sending packages!
On the hair -- my humble opinion? Get it cut just above the shoulders, but skip the dye (the chemicals can make fragile hair even weaker). Besides, your hair is a beautiful color as is.
I'm sure it's just the stress of travel, and of the unknown future that is causing the thinning. You're young and your body will acclimate, and your hair will be Just Fine!
Love,
Hope
I was a little iffy on the dye-- I think I will just get it cut. I just have to overcome the "blonde American" stereotype!
