Cape Town! The end of our Trans-Africa, and the beginning of the next section of our trip. Kathie's parents and my parents were all lucky enough to be able to visit us in Cape Town for our 5 day layover before we departed for Namibia on a new truck and a whole new group of travellers. We had a fun 5 days catching up with the parents while taking in the sights of Cape Town. It was a refreshing break from truck life, and we also had a day to catch up on the latest movies (Sex and the City and Indiana Jones - figure out who picked each movie...). The highlight for us was the Penguin colony at boulders beach and the drive to Cape Point.

It was sad to say goodbye to so many good friends from our trans trip, but we are looking forward to the next few months as we complete our trip though Africa. Keep reading!
