Last night we had a fantastic dinner-à-deux cooked especially for us by Sonia, one of the staff here at the Bishopscourt Hotel. We awoke this morning to see Table Mountain bathed in a beautiful glow from the morning sun. We were the only ones here last night, but today we have been joined by some other residents that we have yet to meet.

Today the driver Hen’i took us into Cape Town. We did the ubiquitous open top bus tour stopping in the city centre and then Camps Bay where we walked on wonderful white sand and paddled in the Atlantic - cold, but not as cold as it is in summer apparently! Then back to the Victoria & Alfred (not a typo) Waterfront where we also visited the aquarium. The weather has been gorgeous, as illustrated in the attached pictures.
