We woke up to unpleasant weather, it was freezing outside and we had no intention to get out of bed in weather like that. So we watched Pirates of the Caribbean. When the movie finished we came outside to see that the day has turned out to be perfect, and packed some lunch to go do some hiking.
We went on the Gudu Falls trail, and I think both our lungs was about to pop out, the steep incline we had to pass was ready to kill us. We frequently stopped to catch our breath which sounded like steam trains letting off steam. It was a horrible feeling and I thought I was going to faint. My walking stick became a tool to keep me up.
When we reached lookout rock I didn’t want to do any kind of looking. Chris quickly befriended some people that is on a photo workshop and had a nice chat with them. After some water we were ready and back on track, it would appear that the steep incline is gone and on the highest top of the mountain we were facing, we could see a gorgeous waterfall. That
is where we are heading and it was a aim to get there.
We reached it within no time, and it was a pleasant site, though we couldn’t see the main drop we could view some of the smaller drops encircled with beautiful lush forest. How beautiful. We decided to stop and have lunch. Chris was like a monkey, exploring and climbing. He was in his element
As we decide to head back, Chris decides to go off the beaten track and explore when he heard some water, which sounded like a waterfall. We climbed and we crawled and there it was. Whooohoo, was the sound coming from him, as he was smiling so bright that his eyes were shimmering like little starts. I made myself comfortable and decided to carve a rock that I picked up. I watched him and giggled, since the child in him was overexcited and hyper active.
He came back saying I should follow. Over and under and there we were on the other side of the waterfall, he jumped over rocks and almost fell off one of them, since they are slippery and slimy. Wow, I was in awe of this

beautiful site. He yelled with happiness, and my heart warmed to see him so happy. It truly was great and we want to come back here again.
We walked back which was harder than we thought. Chris’ knees were hurting. Back at camp we hugged and held one another for such a great day. We had some lovely steaks and a hot shower. What a great day.
