THIS IS A BLOG I WROTE FOR THE RAINBOW... BUT I ALSO WRITE IT FOR ANYONE OUT THERE WHO IS CONFUSED ABOUT THE STATE OF THIS WORLD WE ARE LIVING IN... ENJOY...!
Greetings Rainbowee, Jan 29th 2008
Not I , not you…we …rainbow -eeeeeee! Indulge me here a moment as I deliver this workshop…
the way forward…the time for the lone wolf… is over… the time to complete the circle has come…shal-om! Wholeness … fulfilment…ONE NESS...UNITY with you.
For those of you who don’t know me..ive been focalising rainbow stuff for a long time now… (23- years)and I like to see things move forward…even if it is difficult... we are doing it...
Ok since I came back from Russia , Altai with the vision of the eco-centric community;(ecocentric@ yahoogroups. com)- Ive put together a manifesto and scouted for land in east Africa . I believe the three best places in Africa for such a community are south Africa, Uganda and Tanzania . but i must say the best connection i had with the people was in Uganda .
in terms of infrastructure i should say south Africa ...in terms of beauty and accessibility. .. well
Tanzania was great... Kenya is out of the question right now until the ethnic violence finishes... that could take another 3 years or more... right now it doesn’t look good...its a really african thing....
now... what else have i done? well, ive spread the vision to the rainbow community worldwide and we’ve put up facebook group with around 50 members( rainbowee family of living light as well as a www.rainbowee .net - a new tribe online.
now, ive just got inspired by a project going on in fiji... anyone interested can check out ...we can learn much from them... they have been going for only 6 months now... their vision is not permanent one they have a time limit...three years..... it is a temporary community.- and they are not rainbows...they dont have our valuable experience we have gained over the last 36 years...
IT IS NEVERTHELESS A PIONEERING PROJECT THAT DESERVES OUR RESPECT!- check it out...
www.tribewanted. com
I've also raised some money for this project already and i am sowing into the lives of 75 orphans ive adopted in uganda. ( i had a real king of scotland moment there)-although it is not possible for
foreigners to own land in Uganda ...
i am trying at the moment to get connected to the government to become a Ugandan citizen( i am told it is easy). if we register the community as an NGO ( non governmental organisation) ; then it could be possible to lease the land for a long period of time...up to 99 years.
Essentially i believe any project that integrates with a community should have a social emphasis inbuilt into it. Whether it is schooling, clinic , water , infrastructure, training, job creation etc...AND EVEN IF THAT EMPHASIS IS AS A CHRISITAN COMMUNITY...the spirituality and the sociality is essential to its ongoing survivial.
I've located 3 possible places in uganda.
1. the first is on the lake itself. there are 3000 islands on this great fresh water lake... so water is not a problem... there is already a chimp colony on one of them...
2. the second area is near Murchison falls near just north of the Mountains of the Moon. -the weather is cooler.. and may be more temperate for European tastes... also there is malaria to consider...its a big consideration... especially with young children...but...
I like the idea of the island ( malaria can be eradicated...- the final possibility is
3. the lakeshore itself near jinja.
in tanzania i located 3 possible places for a community/.
1. pemba island - a fantastic island off the coast of Tanzania ... a place where rubber and cloves grow... very beautiful... transport and life is slow... traditional dhow is used ... i looked around the island and believe the north east coast is probably the best. I went to a Zanzibari boatyard and enquire about constructing a dhow... they said it would cost around 3000 dollars AND TAKE ABOUT 6 WEEKS TO MAKE...
2. the highlands north of tanga... there is a small place that was a German colony many years ago... mosquitoes not too much climate temperate.
3. arusha/ moro moro. - this is where most tourists go to .many opportunities for tourism projects...local tribesmen are the “mow mow”( just joking mau mau) - a big hit with Italian and Spanish women... some of them come over for " sex tourism" - so to a degree the mau mau are beginning to lose their cultural ways... they have not lost their
tribal ways totally and still drink the blood of cows... they are nomadic;yet they have tribal lands where they graze their cattle on... they look very noble...
and, they are a big hit with european tourists...and thats good...because they have integrated indigenous ways with capitalistic western ways... and as a culture they have a greater chance to survive.
in south Africa I scouted for two months in 2007 - Feb. and march...(www.faithcaravan.blogspot.com-) i bought a car and travelled along the coastline looking for land... i must have driven around 10 000 kilometres...
the best possibility i found is where we did a rainbow already 10 years ago... a place near port st.. johns... in the transkei or wild coast-you can check out some of my older blogs...
there is virginal beach, no pesky malaria to worry about, lush waterfalls, fresh water aplenty, arable land, good climate, dolphins... indigenous birdlife and the land is relatively cheap... most of the land is tribal land and you cant buy it...and the people are not aggressive like most of the rest of south africa.. they still have values... - there is some good land available in the interior.- and many
eccentric people live in this area now..... it has access to infrastructure and is around 6 hours drive south of Durban... so this would get my best vote... we have done a gathering there... the people still remember the rainbow....even after all this time...
it would also make a great healing place... I mean there is waterfalls running off cliffs into the ocean... the water is warm right through the year... and in case of emergencies. ..medical assistance can be accessed...
for most of us ...living 21st century lives... we want to design our own lifestyle...
how we live, what we eat, what we drink , what we breathe... its all about conscious living.
so yes, what we believe in is simple...
we design our world around us to how we experience it within us... ( you can quote me)
1. i am a Born again" Zionist" Christian dedicated to spreading the message of Gods LOVE to the world and winning lost souls to bring them into fulfilment.. . and by doing so... i serve myself and others and God...at least I try… and I trust that I do… sometimes I feel I fail
a lot of times … - it can be saddening to spread hope…and never see the fruits of your work…in this life..
2. i strongly believe in the family being together, i believe we need build schools , clinics...etc to serve the coal and the global community as islands of light... eco-villages. . aids , unemployment, social issues, obesity...
that modern 20th century "garbage-consumerist mentalities" have passed onto this generation AS OUR INHERITANCE... MEANS A LOT OF DE-PROGRAMMING HAS TO BE DONE...and all of this has somehow given us the inborn conscious desire to aspire to higher ways of living consciously and spiritually. ... this is our greatest challenge and one in which we much not fail to rise up to in this time and age... as rainbow warriors .... together as one...for our war is not against flesh and blood and macdonalds corporation... but against... dark powers of greed , wickedness and delusion...stuff that controls and doesnt FREEEEEEEEEEEEEE...THE INNER MAN..amen...!
BUT for those of you out there thinking( is this an exercise in conversion... no...;this doesn’t mean that any spiritual hegemony of organised religion can dictate to us how we should live, think- act, believe and feel...!
-
it means that we are given an opportunity to evolve in the human evolution of the spirit to the ultimate godhead... which I believe is the knowledge of God... in man... Jesus!
3. creating sustainable green communities, beacons of light, islands…eco villages…21st century designer lives , living out our beliefs ( even if it means flying in airships around the planet instead of aeroplanes…(check out airshipworld@yahoogroups.com), teaching our children new values which indeed are ancient... yet forgotten... in the fragmentation of the modern liberalist age of what spawned the rainbow in the first place...( thanks dad … you bastard)-just kidding… ha ha bla dee blah!
and this is part of the new challenge that we face in the 21st century... !!! amen..
a constant challenge to ourselves , our emotions and our common human evolution of consciousness that we need to suffer through…(sorry)-
we have been trying to make the dream a reality for years and years… now… but the time indeed come for that dream this year in 2008 … to become a living rainbow? 24-7-365…? To think… YES… I AM EVOLVED! and its not easy ...to just live free...
to live happily ever
shalom...fulfilment Gods love is like the ocean... it fills all holes...and gives all strength...
after... amen..!
so, in conclusion, i hope you will join me in this journey and live the dream somewhere over the rainbow... where music and songs and dances under the moonlight and the stars are the celebration of life that indeed we can all participate in with one great heart...a celebration caravan to the promised land…! Hallelujah! ( See celebrationcaravan@ yahoogroups. com)
many peoples... one everlasting and continuing love shining into the world of indifference and apathy...forever shining… forever loving… you are beautiful … you fill me up with love… ( that’s right .. you do..! Jesus you do )
21st century living doesn’t mean running away from technology , nor does it mean living on an Fijian or Pemban or ugandan island away from Babel -on…because the Babylon you feel is the Babylon you take to the mountain… it has to be confronted…!- and overcome…
technology means how to (techno)-create our lives effectively and efficiently and what it can provide us… but also it means standing up and being counted as a leader not as a follower…! A SHEPHERD NOT A SHEEP…
if we don’t lead by example … then we follow- by our FEAR… our lack of decision; our indecision..… !
thus we need to have the courage to be different… and to be proud to be different (…even if you’re not a vegetarian…!) WE SHOULD BE ORIGINAL..
As a final note… we need to go against the tide… if we want to find our places in the sunshine… at least that is what I preach to myself…my life is a witness to that… this will be a great and daring challenge warriors of the rainbow… so wherever you find your place in the sun…
wherever you find your place to design your life (even if it is in London)anywhere in this new brave and fantabulous world we are all a part of now… a world that is accelerating exponentially ever faster… and sometimes I think dangerously to an uncertain future;
where mortgages and pensions and paper money wont mean a damn thing… in this global egg we are living in…spinning around the sun somewhere in the cosmos near alpha centari..…when the time comes and you need to make up your mind…and figure it all out...what does life mean , the universe and everything....
will all that will be going on in your head the question you ask yourself when the sun sets over the horizon … how much have I truly loved ? how much?
I thank you
Robin in LONDON
