Map Notes:

As a start we were woken up at 3: 30 am by some people returning to the hotel and not seeing the point of being quiet for the other guests. We got up at 7am since Yves wanted to pick us up at 8am. We forgot there was a time change, so were standing in front of the hotel already at 7am rwandan time. And since something got in Yves way he picked us up at quarter to 9. We spent the first morning in Rwanda in front of a hotel, awesome! We then went to some other bank to see if Nellie could get some money. On our way we met Anita for the first time who then went to Muhanga, the place where the project is. While Nellie was spending an eternity at the bank, Yves and I had to wait outside in the heat. After a chat we discovered that we both aren't big fans of the French language. Once Nellie was done getting money we went to get some breakfast. I had this awesome croissant with avocado, tomato and lettuce which cost me (converted) 90ct. After breakfast Yves showed us the city and after our little walk we met Rosella at a café. Rosella was a Canadian doing an internship in Kigali, but since she had a lot of free time she wanted to participate in the project, too. In the afternoon Yves put us on a bus to Muhanga where we met Anita, her sister and Yves sister. The women brought us to our motel where we would stay for the next days. After we checked in (if that's what you wanna call it) the three left us and went back to Kigali. We got some air time for our Rwandan phone and went back to our room. We had a huge bed, but it seemed like the toilet wasn't working. So I got some guy to look at it and he told us that we would have to flush it manually...great!
