O K we are in Windhoek on a farm called Monteiro, a couple of nice sites with a lappa for each site, nice for shade and a nice wind break,(windhoek means windhoek) The city itself might as well be in S A all the normal shops and banks, vruit and veg, WWorths, pick and pay, checkers etc.
The last blog was in Keetmans hoop, from there we went to Helmeringhausen on a farm called Lovedale, these private parks on the farms are realy nice to stay in, friendly personel service, much neater than NWR, resorts, much neater and almost half the price, Lovedale farm has been in the same family for 5 generationes and thay farm with sheep. we bought some lovely mutton there, you dont seem to get lamb here in Nam.
From here we wnt to Ses riem and Sosus vlei, Sesriem park is a NWR. park and realy not nice, ablutions need attention and prices high, R250.00 per night. The dunes at Sosus are realy something to see, massive heaps of red sand, some as high as a 60 story building.
FRom Sesriem via Rehaboth to Windhoek, when we stopped here i pulled up the hand brake on Buksie and plan to leave it like that for a couple of weeks,
For the petrol koppe some info on our travels. Buksie is playing games with me, from Sesriem to Windhoek some 380 km no overheating proplems at all she ran like a Swiss watch, then from Windhoek to the park only 10 km she overheated and was boiling by the time we got here,
Well thats all for now, will keep you updated, cheers Nick and Wanda.

Oh wow, that all looks so awesome! I'm very very jealous and dreaming of being there too.
