So I went to Morocco for my spring break, and it was quite an adventure! I went with an organized group and toured Morocco from Tangiers to Rabat, Fes, other smaller towns and to the Sahara Desert.
I promise to write more later, but I thought I´d at least get the photos up.
Sorry that I have been a horrible person and not written... silly school keeps taking up all my time! Expect long entries soon or even after my program. There is just so much I want to share!
The Boat to Morocco
We took this boat to Tangiers, Morocco. It was huge! It was a cross between a cruise ship and a barge, we went on with our bus!
Stop Outside Rabat
Our first stop in Morocco was to eat lunch at a restaurant outside of Rabat, but we took a photo op too!
Pastilla - Pidgeon's Pie
This was an amazing dish, although it sounds really bizarre. It had chicken, corn and other things inside a flaky outside covered in cinnamon and suger. I loved it!
Monument in Rabat
Our group went to visit a bunch of monuments that were dedicated to the past and present Kings of Morocco.
Moroccan Flag
We learned that the green symbolizes peace and the five-pointed star represents the five pillars of Islam.
Coca-Cola in Morocco
I am taking two marketing courses here and the professor always uses Coca-Cola as an example, so I took pictures of their international marketing!
Finding Monkeys!
We stopped in the mountains on our way out of Rabat to look at and feed some wild monkeys.

Your pics are awesome, Carli! especially the shadows of the camel rides - could win a prize! we're so glad you got the oppportunity to go there!

Man you just plumb wore us out! Barcin was amazing! We had a great time visiting you last week. These pix from Morroco are pretty cool too. Have fun in Majorca?/Mallorca? next weekend.
