My Sixth Day in Mauritius:)

Today we woke up at 4.00pm, we have got really bad sleeping habits while we are here. We ordered room service to bring us a serving of chips and gravy and some sweet chilli chicken tenders. It arrived 10 minutes later and we scarfed it down very very quickly. We went to the shops and went into the same jewelry shop as last time and bought 3 pairs of gold earrings and 2 gold chains and 4 silver anklets.

When we left it was already 5.30pm and we decided to go to a big clothing retail store. I got 9 dresses, 5 denim shorts, 3 pairs of jeans, and 12 singlets all for $85.00. We walked around and got some shoes too. Since they were in different sizes i hade to try on like 12 different shoe sizes. I ended up buying 4 pairs of high heel stillettos for $90.00. Carmen and I walked along the dtreets jusst looking around and absorbing the surroundings around us. It was really sunny so we wore hats and sunglasses all day for the first time during our trip.

We saw some little kids playing under a broken leaking water pipe, it was spraying water everywhere it looked like it was raining. I took advantage of this and walked straight under the cool water. All the kids stoped and stared at me then started to jump in puddles trying to splash me and Carmen. We said we had to go and walked to our hotel. It was now 7.00pm and we decided to go to bed early so we could wake up and go out and take som emore pictures

Carmen went for a shower first then i went for i cold spa bath. I stayed in there for atleast an hour but then i was really tired and decided to go to bed.
