A week in the lap of luxury at the Oberoi hotel in Mauritius. Four course breakfasts, deep sunken marble bath and polished marble floors, four poster bed and a health spa with your own jacuzzi.The service is amazing, there are 250 staff for 76 rooms! The location is lush, palm trees, exotic flowers and birds, with a back drop of mountains and sunsets across the Indian Ocean - when it's not raining. We're going to Rwanda tomorrow, we've never written that before...

On our last night the guys who came to 'turn down' our bed also surprised us with this candle lit, rose petaled bubble bath - lush

The flowers only last for 1 day - it starts of white then turns purple and then dies.

We got great noodles here for about 50p and took them back to our room.
