The resort has been finished to an exceptionally high standard. Our room was large with an enormous bed and a stunning bathroom. We had a balcony with breakfast table and sunloungers overlooking the sea. The quality of the linens, towels, fixtures and fittings are first class. The room, along with the rest of the resort, was absolutely spotlessly clean at all times.
Shanti Ananda may be famous for its spa and spiritual approach but foremost it is a beautiful and excellent hotel. We enjoyed a quiet and relaxing beach holiday in a stunning location and were thoroughly looked after. The property is stunning in every aspect. Landscaped gardens, spectacular beach, impeccable service , and out of this world spa treatments! We had a slice of heaven in the very midst on the earth. This resort is not your average beach side resort….it is a destination on its own…… your search for a perfect holiday ends here….. and you start to discover how pampering begins….Not just proximity to nature, but through the ancient processes and philosophies of Ayurveda, Yoga, Vedanta, combined with contemporary international therapies, this resort has tried to recreate the balance of mind, matter and intellect, and if I may say so ….they have definitely achieved it!! We even went deep-sea fishing and adventure quad biking, excellent trips organized by the efficient concierge. We could not have asked for anything more!!
All in all, Shanti Ananda is a spa resort that has no comparison in its excellence on the island…. I recommend it to anyone who believes that a holiday should be a treat for the mind, body and soul, achieved in the rare beauty of this island.
