Hello all, again een blog entry uit Afrika maar deze keer wel een stevig stuk noordelijker, in Marocco! Met een hoop opgespaard 45de verlof en omdat simpelweg thuiszitten niet in mijn kraam past heb ik een paar dagen terug voor geen geld een last minute vlucht geboekt naar Casablanca, klinkt als het Benidorm van Marokko. We were in Mauritius today. For anyone who's not sure (and I had absolutely no idea when I first saw the itinerary change), Mauritius is an island off the coast of Madagascar and is basically half way between South Africa and India. I had some mixed feelings about my experience in Mauritius, but overall the country is beautiful, and I'm very glad we got to go. Hi everyone, We are now in our 2nd day at Kwandwe Private Game Reserve on the Eastern Cape, South Africa and on the 12th day of our travels. We have seen so much already! As well as getting married on 6th March in Mauritius, we have been Big Game fishing and caught a Barracuda, Dolphin watching in Tamarin Bay, a Catamaran Cruise along the West Coast of Mauritius,and now here we are in an out of this world private Game Reserve. Well, we made it safe and sound out of Africa. Boy, what a trip so far. We are now on the island of Mauritius -- it's beautiful. Weather is so-so. Cloudy, but a lot of sun too. We were thoroughly impressed with Africa. Friendly people -- at least where we were -- who were anxious to tell us about their lives. And the wildlife....WOW!
